You are on Hans Island. It's a rather nondescript and somewhat useless rock roughly 1 km in diameter, but since it sits right about exactly midway between Ellesmere Island, Nunavut, and Greenland, it has been disputed by both Canada and Denmark.
Well, until 2022, when the heads of state of both countries decided to show how friendly they are to each other, show to the world how they're absolutely not Russia and set an example for other countries with land disputes, and decided they should split the island in half, creating one of the smallest land borders in the world.
I don't know how you got there, but at least both sides of that border live in metric land, and whatever signage, if there would be any road up there, would surely be in kilometres per hour.
